Medal haul for Maltmans girls

Fourteen girls from Maltmans Green School in Gerrards Cross came back with 21 medals between from two music festivals last week.
The girls sang unaccompanied and accompanied folk, classical, sacred and show songs at the Marlow Music Festival and the Maidenhead Music Festival last week. (w/c nov 3)
Sophie Seers, 10, who sang from The Messiah and the Lion King, won gold, silver and bronze medals, while Thanya Jasinska, nine, who also won gold, silver and bronze, sang Scarborough Fair, and Feed the Birds from Mary Poppins.
