BP Collins earn tough award
Gerrards Cross law firm B P Collins ended the year on a high note with the news that it has passed stringent Law Society accreditation tests with flying colours.
The Lexcel practice management standard is only awarded to solicitors who meet the highest management and customer care standards and each year firms have to undergo rigorous independent assessment.
The practice was praised for its demonstration of a 'high level of compliance to the Lexcel Standard' and its ability to show continual improvement in process compliance.
For B P Collins, the endorsement was all the more important because it comes after 12 months in which the firm has seen a number of changes. These include the concentration of all its services into a single centre of legal excellence in Gerrards Cross and major investment in its Sterling House offices.
This was specially acknowledged by the assessor, who said the firm was to be commended for achieving the Standard during the change process.
Ian Johnson, senior partner, said: "I am delighted that for the seventh consecutive year, we have been awarded Law Society Lexcel accreditation. I am particularly pleased as even though this year the standard has been raised we have been highly commended. This means that our clients can be assured that they will receive the highest quality service for all their legal work."
