GX-Quiz-Night.jpgChiltern House in Gerrards Cross held its annual championship quiz night in the Memorial Centre last Friday.
This year's winners of the Championship Shield were Hazel's Nuts from Hayes, led by Hazel Hunter, closely followed in joint second by the Long Woodenheads and Ickenham Allsorts, who always appear in the top ten.

Eleven year old boys and their parents in south Bucks are facing a nail-biting wait on grammar school waiting lists after school offers last week were limited to significantly smaller areas than last year.
Bucks County Council has said that more children than usual passed the 11-plus exam this year.

The Junior Fun Run took place on Saturday morning at Thorpe House Sports Field, and saw 144 children aged between seven and 11 running in the event, which had been organised by the Misbourne Matins Rotary Club.

Fishy visitors to Gayhurst

On Friday, Giancarlo and Katie Caldesi arrived at the school in Bull Lane to demonstrate to the boys the variety of ways that fish could be cooked.
