Cricket tournament set to bowl over village

A GROUP of young sportsmen from Gerrards Cross are set to appear on national television to mark the start of an inaugural cricket tournament.
Youngsters from Gerrards Cross cricket club will appear on Sky's Cricket AM show on Saturday before the first ever Gerrards Cross Junior ten10 contest begins the following day.

The group will meet presenters and guests on the programme to celebrate the beginning of the tournament.
The event sees cricketers between 10 and 12 battling it out in a 10 over match, with older players between 13 and 15 playing a Twenty20 tournament.
The tournament takes place on Sunday, July 5 at the ground in Dukes Wood.
