Explosion kills man in Denham

A HUGE explosion at an industrial site in Denham claimed the life of a young man and seriously injured another.
The incident happened on Friday evening at 5.40pm at a premises on the A40 Oxford Road near to the Texaco garage and the Majestic Wine warehouse.

Kerry Daly, 21, of Hillingdon and another man were both badly injured in the balst and were airlifted to hopsital, but Kerry later died from the severity of his injuries.
The other man remains in hospital with serious leg and head injuries.
Police believe the incident happened after a nitrogen cannister exploded, but the direct cause of the blast is still unclear.
Mr Daly is being mourned by family and friends, and a Facebook group has been set up dedicated to his memory, which has already attracted more than 550 members.
The group was set up by Mr Daly's childhood friend Ricky Bonner, and it is filled with messages from those paying tribute to his life and reminiscing about time spent with him.
Mr Bonner wrote: "If I didn't start this group I can guarantee that someone else would've because he was loved by so many people. He never let things get him down and would always bounce back up if he was having trouble."
He leaves behind a devastated family and girlfriend of three years Stephanie Wicks, 19, with whom he had saved up to buy a flat.
She wrote: "I just can't get my head around what's happened to you. Things like this can't happen to my boy. It just can't be real! I'm just expecting to wake up with you laying by my side cuddling me.
"I got a tattoo dedicated to you. It reads RIP Kerry Daly, Forever and Always in my heart."
Police have launched a joint investigation with the Health and Safety Executive into the incident, and a scene watch remains in place around the building.
