Flag relay takes off

Posted by Jack Abell on Jun 30, 09 09:29 PM in People

A FLAG relay is currently taking place involving a host of schools across South Bucks.
The event is part of National Sport Week, and sees a group of girls from Dr Challoner's High School in Little Chalfont running to eight other secondary schools to pass on sport week flag.

Each of these eight schools the run their own relay to pass the flag on to one of the primary schools with which they are affiliated.
St Mary's School in Gerrards Cross received their flag ion Monday and a team of their sixth ran to nearby Kingscote School the same day.
Throughout the week, each secondary school taking part is hosting a range of extra sports activities during the week to encourage pupils to be more active.
Children are given a sports logbook in which they make pledges to get more active, with certificates and stickers given out to those who fulfil their pledges.

We'd like to hear from you.
