WAITROSE have resubmitted plans for a new supermarket in Gerrards Cross.
The new store, which would be situated in Station Road, will also include 22 apartments above the shop.

PROPOSALS to build a 12 platform high speed rail link at Iver to service Heathrow have already been put before South Bucks District Council.

SIR David Rowland, chair of High Speed Two, talked in some detail about the Chilterns to the Guardian last week.

PETER Chapman, vice chairman of Gerrards Cross Parish Council, said he doubted that the Chiltern Line would be used for high speed rail in South Bucks.


A NEW high speed rail line is being planned from Heathrow to Birmingham which will certainly travel through the Chilterns and may pass through Gerrards Cross and Denham.

THE EXISTING Chiltern line through Gerrards Cross and Beaconsfield will undoubtedly be one of the route options being looked at by High Speed Two, the company drawing up plans on behalf of the Government.
