Police raid 'dangerous' Gerrards Cross drug factory

Posted by Greg Burns on Aug 13, 09 11:18 AM in Crime

A LARGE cannabis factory was shut down by police in Gerrards Cross at the weekend with police claiming poor DIY carried out on it by the culprits was 'life-threating' for the surrounding residents.
Drugs cops raided a property in Vicarage Way on Saturday afternoon and confiscated a 'substantial' quantity of cannabis and growing equipment although nobody was present in the address.
.

Det Con Tim Waterworth, of Burnham CID, said: "I am appealing for any witnesses or information that will lead to the arrest of those responsible.
"Considerable damage was caused to the building which will cost a great deal to put right. In addition, the offenders undertook amatuer electrical wiring work which posed a significant risk, potentially endangering the lives of those within the building, local residents and the emergency services."
Anyone with any information should call CD Waterworth on 0845 8 505 505 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111
