Classic cars on show at Memorial Centre

Posted by Jack Abell on Sep 3, 09 11:21 AM in People

MOTORING history was brought to life in Gerrards Cross when a classic car show was held in the village.
The exhibition, which featured cars from more than 80 years ago, was held on Wednesday last week.

Gerrards Cross and Chalfont St Peter rotary clubs organised the event in the hope that it would become an annual exhibition which will raise funds for charity.
More than 60 cars including Jaguars, Bentleys, Ferraris and Rolls Royces were featured and brought along to the Memorial Centre in East Common.
Visitors were able to talk to the owners of the vehicles about the cars' histories, and in some cases were allowed to sit inside the cars and have their photographs taken.

We'd like to hear from you.
