BAFTA nomination for Pinewood film
A FILM shot a Pinewood Studios has received a BAFTA nomination.
Me and Orson Welles, which tells the story of the great film director, has received a nomination for best supporting actor for Christian McKay, who plays Welles.
As well as this, Shepperton Studios, Pinewood's sister studios, has been given nominations for Sex and Drugs and Rock Roll, which tells the story of pop star Ian Dury, and sci-fi drama Moon.
Andrew Smith, Pinewood's group director of corporate affairs, said: "These BAFTA nominations illustrate our studios' continued ability to create the optimal film making environment by hosting globally unique and unrivalled facilities together with the best craft and technical skills.
"They're a tribute to the studios and their operation as well as the film makers.
"We wish each of the nominations every success."
