Classic car event to return to village

A CLASSIC car event has been confirmed to take place this year in Gerrards Cross.
The Rotary Club of Gerrards Cross and Chalfont St Peter and the Gerrards Cross Abbeyfield Society, who organise the event, have decided to run the event again after last year's inaugural show.

They say that they are convinced that the event will not only become one of the town's most important attractions but will also establish itself as a key fixture for classic car owners.
Last year's event attracted 65 cars bringing 85 years of motoring history to Gerrards Cross.
The show, which was held at the Memorial Centre, was such a success that the organisers decided to make it an annual event.
