Lack of bins sees dog miss increase in Denham park

WALKERS in Denham have been left exposed to mounds of dog mess after bins were removed from a popular park.
The dog mess bins have disappeared from Denham Country Park in recent weeks, leaving dog walkers having to clean up after their animals and carry the mess around with them, or simply leave it on the ground.

Previously, bins were left at locations around the park, meaning that the mess could easily be disposed of, but this is no longer the case.
Consequently, according to regular walkers in the park, the area is now strewn with dog faeces, which is proving hazardous.
Yvonne Clarke, 46, who regularly visits the park, said: "The last couple of time I have walked my dog in the park, I have noticed that the bins have disappeared.
"This has meant that I have had to take a plastic bag with me and clean up after my dog, and then carry it around with me for the rest of the walk, which is disgusting and puts you off using the park.
"The bigger problem though, is the amount of mess on the pathways now that the bins have gone.
"People have obviously seen that there is nowhere to put the mess and so have not bothered cleaning up after their dogs, which has caused the paths to become littered with the stuff.
"It has made parts of the park very unpleasant and I would like to see the bins reinstated as soon as possible. I cannot understand why they were taken away in the first place.
"If they were to be brought back, the park would be much nicer place to walk in."
