THE first participants in a new health and well being initiative for gypsies and travellers in South Bucks have completed the first stage of their training.
Six women from traveller communities will become health advocates for the traveller sites of Iver, Wapseys Wood, Dudley Wharf and Mansion Lane.

Team's footall kit stolen

A LADIES' football team has been left devastated after hundreds of pounds worth of their kit was stolen.
Denham United Ladies, who play at the Den in Oxford Road, were shocked to find that a car containing the kit of the entire first team had been stolen while they were training on the evening of March 18.

ORGANISERS of the Gerrards Cross Fun Run are on the lookout for contestants who want to make video diaries detailing their progress.
The race is set to take part in May and application forms are now available, and organisers are keen to find people who are willing to show their training progress in videos to be featured online.

THERE will be shock in Gerrards Cross as residents discover that the second route option for High Speed Two, announced by the Government last week, runs under the town.

Keran Henderson, of Pinewood Green, Iver Heath, a married mother-of-two, was convicted of manslaughter in November 2007, following the death of 11-month-old Maeve Sheppard.

THE CONTROVERSIAL decision six months ago to burn waste from Bucks outside the county in the future has hit problems and the county council is having to put the job back out to tender.
