TRADERS are hoping that plans to improve the look of a High Street will see trade pick up over the summer months.

BOLLARDS have been put up in the main road in a village to stop the problem of people parking illegally.

Construction of an enormous set in the Gerrards Cross park has been ongoing for the past few weeks, with facilities ready to accommodate trailers, lighting rigs, and a 120 ft CGI blue screen.

NEIGHBOURS in Gerrards Cross came together for the jubilee by holding a special street party.

An event in Bulstrode Way on Saturday was attended by people who live in the street, and Dominic Grieve MP put in an appearance.

Everyone at the party enjoyed food and drink, sitting outside at tables covered with Union Flags.

JUBILEE fun was had on Saturday in Gerrards Cross thanks to a special Fun Day which took place.

The event was held outside Tesco in Packhorse Road, and featured face painting, live music, morris dancing and a balloon artist.

FUN and games were had by girls at St Mary's School in Gerrards Cross as they celebrated the jubilee.

The all girls school in Packhorse Road held a barbecue lunch on the school lawn, with many parents and other family members coming along to join in.

YOUNGSTERS at Gerrards Cross C of E School got into the spirit of the jubilee at a special event last week.

Children at the school in Moreland Drive dressed in red, white and blue on Friday to celebrate the occasion.

EXPENSIVE film equipment has been stolen from Pinewood Studios by burglars.

The incident happened at the site in Pinewood Road, Iver Heath in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

GERRARDS Cross has received a jubilee boost thanks to patriotic flags being hung up throughout the village.

The village Traders Association applied for and received funding to hang flags in the village centre along Packhorse Road, Station Road and Oak End Way,
