A PENSIONER is continuing a campaign to raise as much money as possible for people suffering from leprosy.

Ken Walker, 81, of South Park Crescent, Gerrards Cross, is holding a coffee morning on Saturday, April 13 in aid of the Leprosy Mission.

A craft fair is set to take place in the village this weekend.

The event is taking place on Saturday at the Memorial Centre in East Common, and will feature home made crafts, jewellery, baking, toys and Christmas gifts.

The event will go on from 10am until 3pm, and entrance to the fair is £1.

PEOPLE across Bucks will be ditching their smart trousers for jeans tomorrow.

Schools and businesses across the county will be taking part in Jeans for Genes Day tomorrow (Fri) to raise money for Genetic Disorders UK.

PEOPLE in Denham will have the chance to talk to their parish councillors about the village at an event on Saturday.

The parish council is holding a surgery on Saturday from 10am until 2pm at the solicitors' office in Station Parade.

The purpose of the surgery is so that the community get to know who their parish councillors are, learn a bit more about the responsibilities of the parish council and share any ideas or suggestion/issues with them, so that they are better able to support the community.

BIG crowds are expected for a village event which is quickly becoming one of the most popular in its calendar.

The Gerrards Cross Classic Car Show, which takes place at the Memorial Centre in East Common, was launched in 2009 and in that time has gone on to attract more and more people each year.

The popular Colne Valley Festival is taking place this Sunday.

Large crowds are expected to attend the event, due to go ahead at Denham Country Park in Denham Court Drive.

A CAR boot sale is set to be held in Iver next month.

The event is taking place on Saturday, July 14 at Iver Village Junior School in the High Street from 12pm to 3pm.

The event will be being set up from 11am, and cars wanting to sell items will be charged £5.

Entry is £2 before midday, 50p after noon, and 20p for children over 12.

Refreshments will be available, with all proceeds going to Iver Village Infant and Junior Schools.
